Websites have the potential to reach enormous audiences. In the days since our first (hand-coded!) website in 1995, the ever-expanding array of new web technologies have enabled compelling ways to reach those audiences. We're whizzes in Macromedia Dreamweaver/Flash/Freehand and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator environments, having expertise in XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash Actionscript, and PHP technologies.
One of our first projects was on the Official Care Bears website, Care-Bears.com. The "Collector's Corner" page is a one-stop source for any enthusiast of the world-famous children's toy and media icons.
Newellcreations.com provided a web-administered Content Management System to maintain BBBSSWCT.org, the website of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwestern Connecticut. This design allows in-house BBBS staff to update and maintain their own website without any 'expert' web design knowledge. We also provided a ZIP-code locater, streaming video, Tell-A-Friend mailer, and a complete email/calendar/chat system for the entire staff's organizational and communication needs.
When A & B Wood Design learned that their fine mouldings products would be featured on an upcoming episode of Martha Stewart's "Martha" TV show, they called Newellcreations.com to help them update their aging website in advance of the expected publicity.
Newellcreations.com undertook the cutting-edge effort of developing a one-of-a-kind website for Creative Carpet & Rug: Visitors can browse through hundreds of rug samples, searchable by color, fiber, style, or a number of other attributes, and add them to a shopping-cart-like list for scheduling a FREE in-home appointment to see these samples in their own home!
Alderson Funeral Homes needed a modernized website that provided online obituaries for families with far-away loved ones. Newellcreations.com's custom programming provided not only this, but e-condolence posting as well. The clean, dignified graphic design also unified the brand of the multiple homes that AFH operates.
With a diverse selection of product and service offerings, New England Construction needed a way to clearly distinguish itself from its Home-Improvement competitors. At the same time, they were looking for a way to better communicate with their existing customers and collect feedback and testimonials. This site re-design features high-impact visuals, professional photography, and quick and easy e-Newsletter capability.
As initial artist at company launch, Newellcreations founder 'Gideon' Dave Newell interviewed, recruited, and trained other animators, illustrators. He created character animations for use in various educational web games, and contributed to game, level, and concept design for current and future projects. Newell also conceived and created Flash/Director user interfaces for games and website activities.
Newellcreations.com uses a web-administered Content Management System to maintain and provide continuous daily updates to articles, streaming sermon audio, calendar of events, forums, and more. In addition to providing continuing webmaster services, we also helped set up and maintain a Prayer Request Module on the site where visitors can read and track prayer requests or submit requests of their own. |
