It may also get rid of the flickering when changing the pages and while looking at the site map it would rid of the unneccesary semi-toolbar that only hold a small logo. If not, maybe while on the site map page you may want to set the additional nav hight. As already mentioned in the other answer - I would remove the small logo after all , or even the interim nav bar - it is a reapeat you do not really need.
